WWE TLC 2017 News: Sasha Banks and Alicia Fox Kicks Off Event; The Shield to Fight Against Five Contenders

A match between Sasha Banks and Alicia Fox will kick off the World Wrestling Entertainment's (WWE) Tables, Ladders & Chairs event. Meanwhile, the Shield — Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns — will go against five contenders in one fight.

On the upcoming Sunday event, Sasha Banks is anticipated to take revenge at Alicia Fox for beating her in their last match, Coed reports.

At a previous episode of "Monday Night Raw," Alicia Fox tapped out from Sasha's The Banks Statement move. However, when the match was over, Alicia came for Sasha from behind and beat her to a pulp. Sasha will not allow herself to be outranked by Alicia Fox.

Meanwhile, the Shield will be fighting against Braun Strowman, The Miz, Kane, Cesaro, and Sheamus on the upcoming TLC event, Den of Geek reports.

Originally, the Shield was only set to face Miz, Sheamus, and Cesaro on the upcoming TLC match. However, Ambrose has been bragging that his team can take down five wrestlers in one match. Because of that, Miz decided to prove Ambrose's talk and added Strowman to the mix.

The next guy that was supposed to be added was Curtis Axel. However, the Shield pounded Axel backstage. Kane was chosen as their fifth member because he helped Strowman win a match.

For WWE Raw Women's Championship, Alexa Bliss will be defending her title against Mickie James. The two have an ongoing feud since James challenged Bliss' with her title. Even though James is way older than Bliss, she is very much capable of bringing Bliss down on the ring.

Meanwhile, Kalisto and Enzo Amore will go head to head for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. The other matches included are The Demon versus Sister Abigail, Asuka versus Emma, and a lot more.

WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs 2017 is happening on Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. EDT at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
