The past week of the Trump administration featured President Donald Trump meeting with Asian leaders overseas, as the ongoing government shutdown continues to have an impact here at home.

Additional developments included the White House setting a record-low cap on refugee admissions and reports of pending action in the ongoing battle against the drug cartels that the White House has denied.
