Vice President Mike Pence, quite possible the most powerful evangelical politician in America today, stood by the president's decision to withdraw from the Paris Agreement.

In an interview with conservative Fox News personality Sean Hannity, Pence said that the Agreement was "a bad deal from the moment it was signed by the [Obama] administration."

"This is an agreement that puts an enormous burden on American consumers [and] on the American economy while allowing countries like India and China to virtually get off scot-free for a decade or more," said Pence.
