6 times Democrats were killed, beaten or threatened in targeted attacks

Following the politically motivated assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk two weeks ago, both the United States House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate passed resolutions condemning political violence.

While most of the discussions about politically motivated violence following Kirk’s murder have focused on threats and attacks perpetrated against members of the political Right, figures on the Left have also been killed, beaten or threatened.
