'Final: The Rapture' Promises to Be 'Scariest Christian Movie of the Decade' (VIDEO)

What is being being heralded as the "scariest Christian movie of the decade" is holding it's world premiere June 27 at LA Live Theater in Los Angeles.

The movie, "Final: The Rapture," will focus on the days and events following the Rapture and follow four different stories taking place over the world.

"I wanted to make a very clinical, realistic film on the coming Rapture," said Director Tim Chey in a press release. "There's no cartoon anti-Christ, cartoon anything. It's a very sobering look at what will happen in the next great event of mankind: Christ returning for his church."

The film was made to scare non-believers into asking questions and believers to evangelize.

"It's most definitely not for children under 13," the director says. "There's no profanity, sex, or anything like that. But I made this film to scare the living daylights out of adult non-believers."

Slated to hit theaters nationwide in October, the film was shot in six countries over five months.

A brief description from the website:

"In Los Angeles, Colin Nelson desperately attempts to flee to Bora Bora. Keenly aware that he's in the Tribulation period, his only hope is in a mysterious man. In Tokyo, a journalist, Masashi, tries to unravel the disappearance of millions of people as the government closes in on him. In Buenos Aires, Marie searches for her final relative as time runs out. And on a deserted island in the South Pacific, Tom Wiseman, an avowed atheist, attempts to be rescued after his plane goes down."
