Kim Kardashian to Sue Christian Author Over Book About 'Fake' Marriage

Former publicist says he never signed a confidentiality agreement

Kim Kardashian is so serious about proving her wedding was not fake that she has hired “Mad Dog” Marty Singer, a lawyer known for protecting the image of badmouthed celebrities, to go after a Christian author and former Kardashian publicist who is writing a book that says the reality TV star's marriage was a sham.

TMZ has reported that Kardashian hired Singer to “put a muzzle” on Jonathan Jaxson by suing him for $200,000 in damages for making defamatory statements about Kardashian in his new book, Don't You Know Who I am Yet?, which is about the inner-workings of Hollywood from the perspective of a PR expert, according to Jaxson's website.

Singer told TMZ that the book defames Kardashian.

“Everything that he is saying is false and nonsense ...This guy is in it to promote himself for his 15 mins of fame,” he said.

Singer also claims that Jaxson, who worked for Kardashian in 2007 as a publicist, is violating a confidentiality agreement. However, Jaxson disputes that claim.

“I have never signed an agreement dealing with confidentiality with Kim Kardashian,” Jaxson says on his website. “I have an agreement in my possession that does not have either party’s signature on it.”

Despite the disagreements among both parties, Jaxson insists he is not trying to do any harm to Kardashian.

“I have not worked with Kim in a professional capacity in a couple of years and have absolutely no ill feelings towards her what so ever,” he said.

In addition to the disagreement over the claims, Jaxson also said he has not been served any papers regarding a lawsuit. However, he might be served with a TV show of his own: "I am fielding offers coming in for a possible regular morning show on-air gig in TV and/or radio," he said.

However, Jaxson is preparing for what could be a nasty legal battle. After returning from church today, he tweeted to his followers: "Church was good...Now I am shopping attorney's. Interesting how times change. Any recommendations?"
