Let the First-Ever Special Needs Contestant on 'Wheel of Fortune' Win Your Heart With Joy (VIDEO)

On Wednesday night's episode of "Wheel of Fortune," Trenton "Trent" Girone became the first-ever special needs contestant in the show's 30-year history, and spun his way into viewers' hearts with his unbridled enthusiasm and love of the game. The 21-year-old from Peoria, Ariz. has overcome nine brain surgeries and has Asperger's and Tourette's syndrome.

In a blog post on the show's website, Girone wrote, "I decided to be a contestant because I have been a fan of the show since I was at least two years of age."

While he didn't win the game, his positive outlook continues to shine in this word for future Wheel spinners.

"My best advice to future contestants is to relax and have a good time. It is a lot of fun, whether you win big or not," Girone wrote.
