Surface Pro 4 vs Surface Book vs iPad Pro Specs Review: The Tech Dilemma for Users
Individuals who mostly give importance on their ability to do their work and at the same time entertain themselves in one single device may soon be facing a dilemma with the coming of three of the highly anticipated tablet computers from Microsoft and Apple.
The iPad Pro
Unveiled earlier last month, the new iPad Pro is speculated to be available in stores by late October or early in November. During its presentation, the device was featured in three color models – Silver, Gold and Space Gray. The tablet, regardless of its memory variant, boasts a 12.9-inch Retina, LED-backlit, Multi-touch display with a 2732 x 2048 resolution at 264 pixels per inch.

Thanks to its much powerful A9x processor chip which gives off twice the memory band than its predecessor, it is now possible to make two apps run simultaneously, side by side.
It is touted by the Cupertino-based tech giant as one of its "ground breaking" and energy efficient productivity and entertainment device to ever come out this year.
The Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book
On the other hand, Microsoft recently announced the latest iteration to its Surface-series, the Surface Pro 4, this October.
Unveiled with the Surface Book, the 2-in-1 tablet/laplet device comes out with a new 12.3-inch display with 2,736 x 1,824 resolution. Unlike its predecessor last year, the Pro 4 is said to be thinner and lighter to the touch. However, the ports and wireless capacities identifiable in the Pro series can still be found in this device.
Changes are also made on the Type Cover keyboard which now has more evenly-spread keys which is very similar to the keyboards of the MacBook Air and Ultrabook.
On the inside, the new line boasts powerful processors starting off with the M3-6Y30 variant which clocks at 2.2 GHz; the i5-6300U clocking up to 3.0 GHz; and the i7-665OU variant clocking up to 3.4 GHz.
The Surface Book, meanwhile, captures the attention of the public with its 13.5-inch screen. It comes either on an i5 or i7 processor variant. It does feel thicker than the Surface Pro 4 but knowing what the machine could do can make any users overlook its bulkiness.
According to those present at the event, the Surface Book could easily be "one of the most powerful laptops on the market today" since it can even support an Nvidia GeForce graphics card on top of the company's premium graphics, the Intel Iris 540.
"Featuring 1GB GDDR5 high-speed memory, it was customized to deliver accelerated graphics performance within Surface Book's versatile form factor," the company's statement reads (via PCWorld.com).
As for pricing, the iPad Pro could start at $799 for the 32GB variant and $949 for the 128GB one. The Microsoft Surface Pro 4, on the other hand, starts at $899 for the basic variant while the Surface Book could cost at $1,499 for the introductory version.
