Libs of TikTok also shared a Facebook post from Michael Rex, a professor at Cumberland University in Tennessee, where he implied that the fatal shooting of Kirk was justified by declaring “Kharma is a beautiful b****.”

In another post flagged by Libs of TikTok, Rex addressed the shooting at a Colorado high school also on Wednesday as he called Kirk a Nazi: “Crying about a Nazi getting shot while staying silent about the school shooting in Colorado is peak Republican.”

In a statement published on Facebook Friday, Cumberland University President Paul Stumb announced that Rex was “no longer employed by the university” due to his “inappropriate comments on the internet related to the tragic shooting of Charlie Kirk.”
