Libs of TikTok also shared an Instagram post from AnneMarie Donahue, a teacher at Wachusett Regional High School in Massachusetts, reacting to Kirk’s death by posting on Instagram, “We’re NOT offering sympathy.”

On Thursday, Wachusett Regional School District Superintendent James Reilly and School Committee Chair Lauren Salmon-Garrett acknowledged in a statement that “a teacher has been accused of making inappropriate comments” about Kirk’s death.

“That teacher has been placed on administrative leave for the foreseeable future and is not allowed on school property while we investigate this matter,” the district leaders added. “Please know that Wachusett Regional School District condemns violence in all forms. Political violence, especially, has no place in our country, and it directly contradicts our nation’s founding principles.”
