According to RealClearPolitics’ average of polls on the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination, accessed Wednesday morning, Biden remains in the lead despite still not officially announcing his presidential campaign.

RCP reported that Biden had 31 percent, followed by Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont at 21.4 percent, Beto O’Rourke with 8.4 percent, Senator Kamala Harris of California at 7.8 percent, and Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts at 6 percent.

A polling average done by RCP in March had similar results, with Biden in first place with 30 percent and Sen. Sanders in second with 22 percent.

However, compared to March, Sen. Harris has seen a 3 point drop in the RCP average, while Senator Cory Booker of New Jersey went from 5.8 percent to 3.6 percent.
