New schedule and dedicated page for Xbox One Backward Compatibility

In addition to the list of Xbox One Backward Compatibility titles for this month, Microsoft also announced a new release schedule and a dedicated page for the program.

"Based on your feedback, the Xbox Engineering team will start to pilot a new way to launch Xbox One Backward Compatibility titles," Microsoft said. "Starting today, we'll release titles as they become available, rather than a set monthly launch date. What this means for you is that you won't have to wait to find out the latest titles; we'll release whatever is available, when they're available, once each title has received the engineering and publisher stamp of approval."

There will also be a new dedicated page on the Xbox Wire for Backward Compatibility-related news, including roundups of recently released titles and spotlight stories on popular games.

These changes aim to provide fans with more opportunities and avenues to give feedback that the company said is "essential in shaping the Xbox experience." Speaking of feedback, Microsoft continues to encourage the community to vote for their favorite Xbox 360 titles that they want to play on the Xbox One.
