'Destiny' Update 2.0.2 Will Be Out In November & Hard Mode Will Shake Things Up

Bungie has just announced that a major update for "Destiny" will be out in November. Besides addressing issues for Iron Banner, Bounties and more, update 2.0.2 will also make changes to the 'Crucible Forged' quest in The Taken King. This will enable players to undertake multiple quests, Update 2.0.2 will probably be released before Thanksgiving.

The 'Crucible Quest' will have better rewards from Lord Saladin as Bungie explained that the flop rewards from the 'Iron Banner' event turned out to be a bug and this had most gamers not liking the 'Iron Banner' even though gamers had been waiting for it to come back. The bug affected Legendary drops in the 'Crucible Quest'.

The quest itself has been shortened so that players can make more choices. The Bounties have been made more challenging and Daily Bounties will be different from Weekly Bounties and other large-scale Bounties. The previous Bounties were way too difficult that could be had by killing off a lot more enemies. This particular aspect will be fixed by the update.

Gamers who want to play tough games will have the King's Fall Hard Mode, that is making a comeback for the weekend. Though Bungie has not yet revealed the gameplay for Hard Mode, they have warned that this mode will have things 'shaking up the status quo.' It is not going to be as simple as going beyond boosting sandbox difficulty.

According to Bungie's Lead Designer Gavin Irby, Hard Mode will be shaking things up for gamers who want to play like veteran players. This will put to test all the training and strategies that veterans have been using in the previous games.

For more details on the update 2.0.2, gamers can go to the Bungie blog. Another announcement by Bungie is that the 3v3 player-versus-player event, Trials of Osiris, would be making a return.

With this upcoming update Bungie hopes to fix a host of issues with "Destiny" and hopefully gamers will be satisfied.
