'Fallout 4' Rumors: Options for New Settlements and Items

Apart from the Survival Mode and the additional storyline of Far Harbor which had been originally planned for the post-apocalyptic "Fallout 4," the game developers are also looking into providing new settlement options, dungeons, quests, and other new items to the current DLC.

Bethesda had earlier announced that the Far Harbor Island is one which is highly radioactive and teeming with many dangerous creatures. It is also expected to have a much bigger land size than the "Elder Scrolls" Shivering Isles, probably the largest that Bethesda has ever created for an add-on. However, the spoiler stops there, as nothing else is known regarding what shall occupy that large a land mass. It can be imagined that with such a great size, there can be creatures worthy of additional exploration to be found on the isle.

The latest walkthrough video available shows a new option dubbed "Barn" which is presently unavailable but where the developer is seen rushing through without any stops, perhaps in an effort to keep its secrets for the time being until they are ready to have the public view it.

Apart from the settlements and storyline, it has been found that new creatures such as a giant squid may figure in the upcoming update. This may be congruent to the development of the large land mass which can house such monstrosities.

There has been a meager amount of information available, although reports have it that an upcoming release may happen in May.

In the meantime, Automatron and Wasteland Workshop DLC are now out. For those who are into building and micromanaging settlements, the second DLC, Wasteland Workshop, offers new floors and walls and an ability to throw meat as a means of luring creatures into cage traps. Players also get the ability to build mini thunder domes where a fight-to-the-death can take place between settlers and creatures. And an interesting bit of a feature is the Decontamination Arch which can remove radiation just by walking through it.

Video gamers and fans may only have a short wait until the new DLC is out.
