'Flip or Flop' Star Tarek El Moussa Gives Bleak Update on Frank 'The Tank' Miller

Tarek El Moussa's battle and triumph against cancer is remarkable, and seeing one of his close friends going through the same ordeal certainly breaks his heart.

In an update given to Fox News, the co-star of "Flip or Flop" said that things are looking quite bleak for close friend Frank "The Tank" Miller, as of late. "You know, he's not doing very well right now. He's not doing well. It's a big bummer," shared El Moussa.

"He's a very, very important person to me. He's very, very close to me. I mean, I've been watching this poor guy fight. It's been tough," he added. Miller has been fighting what doctors said are different forms of cancer that are aggressive. He had been in and out of the hospital for the past several months and was in critical condition back in July.

Furthermore, El Moussa also took to social media last Tuesday and posted a photo of Miller on Instagram who is seen to be bloated because of his medications. "The treatments fighting multiple cancers caused his face and body to swell 10 times the size it should be," wrote Tarek. He said that Miller had been going through immunotherapy over the past five months, which was "the only treatment that stopped his cancer from spreading."

Unfortunately, the cancer started spreading again and is slowly creeping into Miller's brain. Moreover, he also suffered a "bad infection in his lungs it which caused a severe pneumonia." This led to Miller going into a shock, which led to him falling off his bed and fracturing his head.

El Moussa said that Frank will be staying in the hospital as he recovers from pneumonia before proceeding with a clinical trial offered by Lazarex foundation. In addition, El Moussa asked for prayers, noting that Miller said that "dying was not an option" for him.

Back in 2013, El Moussa was diagnosed with thyroid and testicular cancer, which he had battled and is currently in remission for both.
