'Game of Thrones' Season 6 News: Series Star Maisie Williams Thinks Blind Character Still Has a Lot to Learn

Arya Stark's determination to undergo the grueling training to become one of the most feared assassins in the hands of the Faceless Men somehow gave fans of HBO's hit high fantasy drama TV series "Game of Thrones" the hope that somewhere along the road, her skill will help her get vengeance for the death of her beloved family members.

However, it looks like the character, played by Maisie Williams, may still have a long way to go to become the killing machine the viewers envision her to become. In fact, in the upcoming season, Arya can still be found struggling to learn the ways.

"She's still very much the student. And she's still very much the underdog. She's not the same Arya that we've seen in previous seasons," the English actress said in an interview with TVLine. "Sometimes, you watch Arya scenes and you think, 'She's got this. Don't worry.' This is a season where you watch and go, 'Oh, she really doesn't.'"

Chiming in was actress Sophie Turner, who plays the said character's sister, Sansa. In the same interview, Turner revealed that Arya is "so vulnerable this season." Despite the situation, fans will still find it "so exciting to see her in that place."

She, however, maintained that "she still is a badass," yet the big challenges coming up ahead will ultimately test her mettle.

"It's going to be a big season for her," Turner said.

Divulging further about her character, Williams teased to the media outlet that the feistiness of Arya won't show "until a little bit later" in Season 6. When that time comes, the viewers will then get to see the youngest girl of Ned Stark (Sean Bean) getting more confident than ever with herself.

The Futon Critic meanwhile shared the synopsis for the Season 6 premiere titled "The Red Woman." It reads as follows:

"Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) is dead. Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) meets a strong man. Cersei (Lena Headey) sees her daughter again.

"Game of Thrones" airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on HBO.
