'Hitman GO' Coming to PS4, PS Vita, and Steam Next Week

Square Enix Montreal Community Manager Nicolas Verge announced on Monday that "Hitman GO" will be available to the PS4, PS Vita, and Steam starting next week. The mobile game will be coming to these platforms as "Hitman GO: Definitive Edition" on Feb. 23 in North America and Feb. 24 in Europe.

"Hitman GO: Definitive Edition" will sell for $7.99, €7.99, or £6.49. Buyers will receive the full game plus all of "Hitman GO's" add-on content, including Paris Opera from "Hitman: Blood Money" and the "Hitman 2: Silent Assassin's" St. Petersburg Stakeout mission. Square Enix has also improved the game's graphics and optimized its controls for consoles and PC.

The title is a cross-buy for PS4 and PS Vita, which means owners of Sony's consoles need to buy the game only once for it to be available on both gaming devices. In addition, it also features cross-save functionality, which means the game will be saved between the PS4 and PS Vita. Verge also shared on the PlayStation Blog that the game will include integrated achievements like the Platinum Trophy.

Meanwhile, "Hitman GO: Definitive Edition" on Steam will feature trading cards, wallpapers, emojis, and achievement. Similar to Sony's consoles, the Steam version will also allow cloud saves. PC players need to ensure their hardware has at least a Windows XP SP2 OS and above, Intel Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon 64 X2 processor, 1 GB RAM, ATI Radeon X700 or NVIDIA equivalent, DirectX version 9.0, and 2 GB space available.

"Hitman GO" features a diorama-style interpretation of the "Hitman" universe in what is basically a digital board game. The 2014 turn-based puzzle title was previously available to Android, iOS, and Windows 10 devices only. "Hitman GO's" success paved the way for Square Enix Montreal to create "Lara Croft Go" and other subtle strategy games.

The new iteration of the acclaimed mobile game launches ahead of a new "Hitman" game that is scheduled to release next month.
