'MasterChef Junior' Season 4 Winner Predictions: Title To Go To A Girl After Four Seasons

The finale of "MasterChef Junior" season 4 is now getting closer and closer, and viewers are quite happy to finally see a girl being named as this season's winner.

The two finalists who will battle it all out this finale are Addison Osta Smith and Avery Kyle, both 9 years old. The two young chefs will go head-to-head this Friday, to win the much-coveted "MasterChef Junior" trophy, as well as the $100,000 cash prize.

According to Niagara Frontier Publications, the show's judge and producer, Gordon Ramsay, said that Addison and Avery shined in the semifinals, beating Amaya Baez and Zac Kara, who are both formidable cooks. "It is fantastic to have these two female contestants competing for the 'MasterChef Junior' crown in next week's finale, and it's a tribute to Addison and Avery's parents and teachers, who have helped them on this journey," Gordon added. "All I can say to them before the finale is Girl Power!" he said.

Meanwhile, the Chicago Tribune said that Addison owned the last episode, when she won the dreaded soufflé challenge, and nailed the pork challenge. Fans wonder if Addison could be this year's winner since the editing seems to be focusing on her all the time.

In the sneak peek released for the upcoming "MasterChef Junior" season 4 finale, judge and host, Christina Tosi, said that the River Forest, Illinois native has been on the leaderboard since the start of the competition. "A fierce competitor," Tosi said. Since Addison has been winning the challenges early on the show, Gordon even told Christina that Addison is chasing her job as a baker. Will Addison's skills be enough for her to win this year, or can Avery defeat her?

The Baton-Rouge, Louisiana native started very low key, but Avery has proven that she deserves to be in the top 2 by coming first in the semifinals round. Graham Elliot described her in the promo as someone who has a big personality that matches her big flavors. The judge also said that she remained true to her roots since Day One, serving elevated Southern dishes. "So Addison better watch out, 'cause Hurricane Avery is coming through," Avery said.
