MegaMan in 'Super Smash Bros' Game Coming to WiiU and 3DS (VIDEO)

Yesterday Nintendo announced classic video game character Mega Man is in the new "Super Smash Bros" game for the WiiU and 3DS.

The announcement has been met with the joy of gamers everywhere as the "blue bomber" has been a video game legend since the late 80s when started out on the NES.

Nintendo showed a quick trailer of Mega Man in action as he fought game co-stars Link, Kirby, and Mario.

Two other characters that are being added to the game this year are the villager from "Animal Crossing," and the Wii Fit Trainer from "Wii Fit."

Super Smash Bros has become a Nintendo fan favorite for the company since its first release on the N64 followed by "Super Smash Melee" on Gamecube and "Super Smash Brawl" on the Wii.

This revelation topped off what seemed to be a not so memorable E3 for the company on a high note.

In a 45-minute long video presentation on Monday, the Wii U showed off some of the new games they have in the works. They previewed a number of classic franchise returns and revived forgotten ones through their own company and third party game-makers.

However, the biggest problem Nintendo is facing is that these beloved games they mentioned will not be showing up until 2014.

Games such as "Mario Kart 8," "Xenosage," and "Bayonetta" may see shelves in the spring of next year, according to Ars Technica.

This holiday season, Nintendo will have a modest showing of what they have to offer with: "Super Mario 3D Land," "Legend of Zelda: Windwaker" in HD, "Donkey Kong Country 2D," "Lost World (Sonic the Hedgehog)" and a the new "Wii Fit."

So while the video game company is not making huge waves at the moment, sometime soon in the near future they could be churning out some classics.
