'Pokemon GO' Legendary Dogs Now Available in New Region Assignments

'Pokemon GO' players can now get their final crack at catching three of the last Legendary dogs from three different locations across the globe.

According to Gamespot, the Legendary dogs Entei, Raikou, and Suicune are all available in three new regions, respectively. The catch, however, is that they will only be available until the end of the month. The three Legendary dogs originally appeared from the "Pokemon Gold" and "Pokemon Silver" video games.

Entei, a Fire-type Legendary, can be found in the Asia-Pacific region while Raikou, the Electric-type, can be caught by players in Africa. Meanwhile, the Water-type, Suicune, now roams in the Americas. Much like the other Legendaries, the three dogs can be found as Bosses in Raid battles in Pokemon Gyms.

To capture any of the three, players must team up with others to defeat the ultra-challenging creatures. Back in August, the three Legendary dogs first appeared in three different regions, respectively. Raikou was assigned to North and South America while Entei was available in Europe and Africa. Suicune, meanwhile, was found in the Asia-Pacific region.

Aside from the three Legendary dogs, Mewtwo is also on its way to the hit mobile game. The Psychic-type Pokemon, however, will only be available via EX Raids that are invite-only.

In other "Pokemon GO" news, Niantic Labs announced that over 59 million Pokemon were caught during the "Pokemon GO" Safari events in Europe. Held at different Unibail-Rodamco shopping centers across the region, "over 20,000 Trainers from all around the world came together at these shopping centres to celebrate their love for Pokémon GO and develop new friendships," shared Niantic in a post.

Some of the key locations in Europe included Denmark, Copenhagen, and the Eiffel Tower in France, among others. " Trainers were able to fill up their Pokédexes while exploring these cities full of rich history and beautiful landmarks," Niantic added.
