'Stranger Things' Will Be Coming to PlayStation VR

With the massive success of "Stranger Things" season 2, the Netflix hit series continues to conquer other platforms. Aside from taking over Spotify last week, the series will soon get a crack at some virtual reality action.

Gaming giant Sony posted a short teaser for the "Stranger Things The VR Experience." The trailer shows the iconic sofa set up with the alphabet Christmas lights at the back, with the letters "P," "S," "V," and "R" lighting up in succession.

Furthermore, all the lights eventually flicker, then a message saying "Coming Soon to PlayStation VR" emerges. The game will likely feature The Upside Down, based on the video's official description. Sony did not give any other details regarding the upcoming VR experience, although Gamespot noted that back in August of last year, Netflix released a video of the "Stranger Things" stars viewing and reacting to a VR experience.

It is unclear, though, if the VR experience is the same thing as the one recently teased by Sony.

Meanwhile, Polygon reported that "Minecraft" recently partnered with Netflix to come up with a "Stranger Things" DLC. The content is already up for download, and it features an extensive lineup of characters from the hit sci-fi/fantasy series. Moreover, it also features outfits from both seasons 1 and 2, and it also comes with lost characters like Barb.

The lineup is led by the four main kids plus Eleven, as well as the Demogorgon. "Hold onto your long blonde wigs, kids, because the whole cast is here! Break into a classified facility with Hopper, kick off some Dungeons and Dragons with Mike or heck, why not go totally telekinetic with Eleven?" read the content's official description.

The themed DLC can be purchased on the Minecraft Marketplace via the Bedrock Engine platform for 490 coins. In addition, the pack is also available in consoles for $2.99.
