S'well Bottle: The Fashion Dehydration Accessory for All

Every year, about 50 billion plastic bottles are dumped in landfills in the United States but with the S'well bottle, there is no more dumping and there will be less waste around the world.

S'well was launched Sarah Kauss back in 2010 and since then, people around the U.S. have been walking around with fashionable and sharp bottles that not only adds more beauty to one's overall look but also keeps the individual hydrated all day.

Designed with beauty in mind, the S'well bottle keeps beverages cold for 24 hours and it keeps drinks hot for 12 hours. In a feature by CNN, Kauss said, "It's the first fashion hydration accessory." The company's founder and CEO further shared that through years of research, she discovered the reason behind people's use of plastic bottles: convenience.

With that in mind, Kauss decided to create a water bottle that not only "looked better" but also "worked better." Back then, it was only her thinking about how to run the business but now, she has amazing people in her team to help further advance her cause.

Katie Garbis, Director of Marketing and PR for S'well said the bottles' style and also function made them very popular among consumers, not only for sports enthusiasts but also for office goers and students alike.

Garbis went on to explain that at first, the companies and retailers they approached to introduce their product found it a little hard to understand why the bottles cost $35 but as they detailed how the bottles worked, they were able to get the nods of numerous entities.

While many bottle-producing companies around the world take all the money they get from sales, S'well has a deeper reason for putting a $35 price tag on its fashionable bottles. The company supports the U.S. Fund for UNICEF and since last year, it has given $200,00 for the purpose of providing safe and clean water for children in regions across the globe who are prone to unhygienic water and environments.
