'Shameful': Pastors, Christian leaders react to activists storming So. Baptist church in Minnesota
Pastor Jonathan Parnell — Cities Church, St. Paul
The pastor at the center of the protesters’ demands shamed the mob for storming into Cities Church as he delivered his sermon Sunday.
When asked by reporter Don Lemon to comment, Parnell, who has pastored Cities Church since he planted the congregation in 2015, said, “This is unacceptable. It’s shameful to interrupt a public gathering of Christians in worship.”
As Parnell started to step aside to attend to his congregation, Lemon said the protesters were merely exercising their First Amendment rights, to which Parnell replied, “We’re here to worship. We’re here to worship Jesus because that’s the hope of these cities. That’s the hope of the world.”
I didn’t really want to watch this video but finally viewed it all just now. We really need to require our liberal friends and relatives to view it. It’s so terrible.
