666 Park Avenue: Sex, Drama Show Brings Devil to Primetime

ABC is set to run a new show called "666 Park Avenue," which will contain supernatural content, and will contain sex and high drama according to reports.

The hour long drama is being produced by the same people who brought TV "The Vampire Diaries," "The Secret Circle," and "Gossip Girl." The show is expected to be a big hit, but has some concerned over the content and especially the storyline about making deals with the devil.

Warner Bros. Television and Alloy are behind the new drama, which is based on a book series by Gabriella Pierce.

The drama will be the fourth commissioned to pilot at ABC already this season, following shows Shawn Ryan's Last Resort, the untitled Roland Emmerich election project and Shonda Rhimes' period hotel piece Gilded Lillys, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Following the storyline of the books, the drama will reportedly center around a couple from the midwest who move to New York. They are hired to be resident managers of a building on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York City in a seemingly innocent exchange.

However, once they begin their new job it is revealed that residents of the building have been making sordid sexual deals with the devil. As part of the evil exchanges a deal was brokered that Satan will help fulfill their deepest and darkest desires, which opens the door to the promoted sex and drama.

It has been announced that David Wilcox will likely adapt the project and step into the role of executive producer alongside Alloy's Leslie Morgenstein and Gina Girolamo.

ABC Entertainment chief Paul Lee previously worked with Allot in the past when he was fulfilling his duties at ABC Family. During that stint he worked with Alloy on numerous high profile dramas for ABC Family, including "The Lying Game," and "Pretty Little Liars."
