'Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare' Halloween Event Is Underway

Halloween is fast approaching, and the gaming world made sure it won't be left behind.

Much like with Blizzard's "Overwatch," Activision's "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" also kicked off its "Willard Wyler's Halloween Scream" event on Monday. The event runs for the remainder of October and features interesting Halloween-themed items like loot and new game modes, among others.

For Week 1, players will get to enjoy free Supply Drop until Oct. 13 once they log into the game. A themed accessory will then follow suit every Friday, with a Zombie Ear setting the tone on the first one. On Week 2, the free Supply Drop continues on from Oct. 16 to 20 while a free Calling Card and Emblem becomes available also on the 20th.

The same also takes place on Week 3, this time, with a free Gravestone Accessory becoming available on Oct. 27. The highlight of Week 4, however, will be the free Zombies Merc Rig dropping on Oct. 30.

In addition, there will also be Boss Battles from Weeks 1 to 3. The first one features Spaceland and Rave in the Redwoods while the second one showcases Spaceland, Shaolin Shuffle and Attack of the Radioactive Thing. The last one, however, features Spaceland, Director's Cut and The Beast from Beyond.

Meanwhile, Gamespot reported that one of the featured game modes titled "Gesture Warfare" will also be part of the event. The mode, which gives players the power to kill their opponents using gestures, will only be available until Oct. 12.

"Gestures aren't just for showing off in the killcam anymore. They've become lethal. Cycle through a series of weaponized gestures in this Free-For-All style game mode!" read the mode's official description.

In addition, the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" Digital Deluxe Edition is currently available. It comes with the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered," and the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" Season Pass. The deal is priced at $99.99 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
