'Convenience Store Boy Friends' Episode 12 Spoilers: Will Haruki and Miharu Finally Find True Love in Upcoming Finale?

Could there still be a chance for the Japanese anime series "Convenience Store Boy Friends" to end on a happy note?

The final episode is coming up, and Miharu continues to fight for her life. Haruki, for his part, is still deeply hopeful for Miharu's recovery, as shown in the promotional video for the upcoming simply finale titled "March."

Last week's episode also revealed that Miharu did, after all, have a twin sister named Misora, who also turned out to be the little girl who read and gave "The Merman Prince" book to Haruki all those years ago. However, Misora suffered from the same sickness that Miharu has now and ended up dying at such a young age.

But even after Haruki found out about how Miharu wasn't his first love all along, he realized that how he feels about her right now is all that matters. He decides to continue to wait and hope for Miharu's return.

Can Miharu survive the surgery and thus recover from her sickness, or will she end up having the same fate as her twin sister? If so, how will this potentially tragic turn of events affect Haruki's life?

On the other hand, should Miharu survive and begin to get better, will Haruki finally be able to tell her how he feels and start their long overdue love story?

Additionally, since it is the last episode, fans are also hoping for resolutions for some of the minor pairings as well. Will all of them be able to find and keep their romance going, or are some of them bound to break apart?

"Convenience Store Boy Friends" airs on Thursdays late night at 1:58 a.m. JST on TBS. Information on other broadcast schedules and online resources can be found on the series' official site. Episodes are also available in selected regions outside Japan via Crunchyroll.
