Evelyn Lozada Talks Criticism From Giving Birth at 38

Evelyn Lozada is not bothered by people who are critical of her having a baby at 38 years old.

Lozada, the 38-year-old "Basketball Wives" star and entrepreneur, recently revealed that she is six months pregnant with L.A. Dodgers star Carl Crawford's baby. Now, she is opening up about the criticism that she may be receiving for giving birth at her age in the second part of her interview.

"I think that when God blesses you with a child, then that's the right time. And if people want to say I'm old, then hey that's fine," Lozada told omg! Insider. "It doesn't bother me. I think right now is the perfect time for me because um, I'm older and I feel like I can really enjoy this moment."

Last February, the reality television star recently opened up to Celebuzz about her desires to let God choose her next husband.

"I still want to be a mother, I still want to have other children, I still want to get married and have a family," Lozada told Celebuzz recently. "Only this time, instead of me choosing, I'm going to allow God to choose whomever for me."

The reality star and author spoke about what she is looking for in her future husband.

"I just want a good guy. A family man who wants kids," Lozada previously told Celebuzz. "I don't want five kids, but one or twins would be great."

Although Lozada has said she is happy with Crawford, she revealed that she is not in a rush to get married.

"I definitely would get married again. I still believe in love." Lozada explained. "I'm not one of those people that's like 'we need to get engaged, we need to get married.' No, absolutely not."

The reality television star revealed why she did not want to rush into marriage just yet.

"I feel like that's going to come, just like with the baby, let it come," Lozada says. "I'm not forcing anything, so if it happens, it happens."
