Speaking of age milestones, when he is sworn in as president on Monday, Trump will become the oldest serving president in United States history, passing outgoing President Joe Biden.

Biden was 78 when he was sworn in as president in January 2021, making him the oldest president at that point. The previous record holder was Ronald Reagan, who was 69 when he took office in 1981.

However, reported CBS News, 78-year-old Trump is a few months older than Biden was in 2021 when he began to occupy the White House, making the Republican the eldest to assume the office.

Trump will be 36 years older than 42-year-old Teddy Roosevelt, who holds the record for the youngest person to be sworn in as president when he began his term in 1901.
