"We won't go more than two weeks without seeing each other," she told People magazine, although Shelton added that if they spent too much time together they might "kill each other."

A number of other notable celebrities have also served as milk mustache models for the "Got Milk" campaign, including Angelina Jolie, Carrie Underwood, and even the rock band "KISS."

The 46th annual Country Music Awards will air on Thursday night, which will be hosted by Underwood and Brad Paisley. A number of country stars are to perform, including: Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Kelly Clarkson, Eli Young Band, Brantley Gilbert, Vince Gill, Hunter Hayes, Faith Hill, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Tim McGraw, Paisley, Blake Shelton, Taylor Swift, The Band Perry, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, and Zac Brown Band.

Lambert has been nominated for the category Female Vocalist of the Year. She is also up for Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Music Video of the Year. Shelton was nominated for Entertainer of the Year, alongside Taylor Swift. He was also nominated for Male Vocalist of they Year, Best Song, and Best Single.

Lambert said that she agreed to do the milk campaign because it would related to a lot of people.

"It's universal. I like to do things that appeal to everybody and anybody can relate to," she told Billboard. "I was part of the cotton campaign and this one too felt all-American. So many different celebrities from different genres have done it, and I really felt like it was a good fit. I'm a country girl. I grew up on a farm and I grew up drinking milk and I still do. It felt perfect."
