Red Dead Redemption 2 Release Date Still Unknown, Rockstar Adopts Multiplayer Modes Like in GTA Online
Quite recently, it seems that Rockstar San Diego is currently hiring a large number of developers to work on an undisclosed title -- 37 people to be exact. Many fans speculate that this title is Red Dead Redemption 2 for the Playstation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
While the Wild West open-world game is still to get a sequel, Rockstar has been getting ideas from the game for GTA Online heists and jobs. Specifically, Rockstar has been borrowing ideas from Red Dead Redemption's multiplayer modes into jobs for the multiplayer platform of GTA V.
One such game mode called "Grab The Bag" involves teams riding horseback in an attempt to gun down the opposing team for a bag of loot. In GTA Online though, the horses have now been replaced by cars and motorbikes.
Another mode called "Tall Trees" has also been ported over to the modern style, wherein the hunting mode has been turned into a deathmatch-style job with players being only allowed to use pistols and shotguns to keep the Western feel.
Red Dead Redemption is an open-world game developed and published by Rockstar. The game is comparable Grand Theft Auto except with horses and set in the Wild West. The game was released May 18, 2010 and it has been more than four years without any sort of sequel to follow. Although a planned sequel is confirmed, a release date is the next big question for fans of the open-world title.
