Rick Ross Dead? Concert Canceled Following Second Seizure

Rick Ross was unable to make it out for a performance in Greensboro, N.C. tonight after two health scares on Friday.

According to a spokesman from the Greensboro Coliseum Complex the rapper, who suffered two seizures in separate incidents on Friday, would be a not be taking to the stage tonight.

Ross was reported to have had a seizure on Friday morning whilst on a flight from Fort Lauderdale to Memphis. He was scheduled to be performing in a concert in Memphis on Friday night.

Following the seizure the flight made an emergency landing and Ross was sent to a Florida hospital for a full check over and treatment.

He was later released and proceeded to take a second private plane to continue on his journey to Tennessee.

However, for a second time the rapper suffered a seizure on the flight and the private jet was forced to make a landing in Birmingham, Ala.

Ross was taken to hospital a second time.

According to local Fox station, WGHP, the Coliseum received notification that the homecoming show would be canceled at about 6.45 p.m. Saturday evening.

No updates have been made public regarding Ross’ current condition and when he might be expected to make a comeback.

As news broke of Ross' seizures, the rapper's entry on Wikipedia showed a date of death as Oct. 14, 2011. However, later on Friday the note was removed.
