'Alaskan Bush People' Rumors: Reality Series Now Filming Season 8, Ami Still a Part of the Show
While it was speculated earlier that "Alaskan Bush People" season 8 had been canceled, the latest reports claim that the Brown family, including Ami, are once again in front of the grinding cameras as they film for the next season of the reality series.
Given the seriousness of Ami's health condition, stage 3 lung cancer, it was understandable why many fans of "Alaskan Bush People" suspected that the Discovery Channel reality series would take a hiatus. However, according to recent reports, the family is now back in Colorado, where filming for "Alaskan Bush People" season 8 takes place.
The reveal on the supposed filming of the reality series' next season was made by the show's unofficial Facebook page Alaskan Bush People Exposed. Reportedly, even though Ami is part of the show's upcoming season, she will be returning shortly to Los Angeles to continue her second round of chemotherapy treatment.
To recall, it was reported earlier that the Brown matriarch got really sick when she started her second round of chemotherapy treatment. With the reports claiming that she will still be a part of "Alaskan Bush People" season 8, it goes without saying that avid fans of the family and the show itself are jubilating.
As of this writing, though, it remains unclear what the status of the Brown matriarch's health is. While her daughter, Rain, admitted in an Instagram post last month that her mother was undergoing the second round of her chemotherapy treatment, she did not give any details on the exact status of her health.
"She is now going through her second round of chemo, sadly I can't say how she is doing just yet, but we are all hopeful and faithful, thank you all so much for your support and love in this harsh time," Rain said in an Instagram post.
Meanwhile, "Alaskan Bush People" season 8 is expected to arrive in early 2018.
