Oklahoma Thunder vs. Denver Nuggets Preview: Thunder Aiming for Fourth Win over Nuggets This Season

Number three-ranked Oklahoma City Thunder will be looking to pick up their fourth victory over the tenth-seeded Denver Nuggets this season, as they play against each other next.

The said game will be taking place on Tuesday, April 5th, at the Pepsi Center in Denver. The Thunder won all three previous contests throughout the season, with the first game happening last November 1st in Oklahoma.

In the said contest, it was superstar forward Kevin Durant's efforts that helped his team achieve victory, with a final score of 117-93. Durant ended the night with 25 points and five assists, shooting 8 out of 11 from the field, through 27 minutes of playing time.

Forward Serge Ibaka also contributed big numbers, scoring 18 points, along with seven rebounds and four assists, shooting 8 out of 13 from the field, through 30 minutes of playing time.

The second game last December 27th in Oklahoma was another double-digit victory for the Thunder, with a final score of 122-112. This time around, it was guard Russell Westbrook who lifted his team to victory, dropping 30 points, along with nine rebounds and 12 assists, shooting 11 out of 18 from the field, through 38 minutes of playing time.

Durant also put in significant figures on his stat sheet, scoring 26 points, along with four rebounds and ten assists, shooting 11 out of 21 from the field, through 38 minutes of playing time.

The third game last January 19th back in Denver was more of a close contest, with the Thunder winning by a smaller margin, bearing a final score of 110-104. It was another contest featuring the combined effort of Durant and Westbrook.

Durant ended the night with 30 points, 12 rebounds, four assists, and two steals, shooting 10 out of 23 from the field, through 36 minutes of playing time. Westbrook, meanwhile, scored 27 points, along with five rebounds, 12 assists and three steals, shooting 10 out of 22 from the field, through 38 minutes of playing time.

The Thunder currently banner a record of 53-24, while the Nuggets hold a win-loss slate of 32-46.
