'Rainbow Six Siege' News: New 'Operation White Noise' DLC Announced

"Rainbow Six Siege" is getting the final piece of its Year Two content, a new expansion titled "Operation White Noise."

Just like the previous downloadable contents, the new one reportedly will include three new operators, including a Polish character to complete the GROM counter-terrorism unit that was formed in the "Operation Blood Orchid" expansion. The first GROM operator was Ela.

Additionally, two new Korean Operators will be joining the roster as well. They belong to the 707th Special Mission Battalion, which is a special forces unit called "White Tiger" and was formed as a response to probable terrorist threats to the 1988 Olympics.

"Operation White Noise" also comes with a new map that is set in South Korea.

Video game publisher Ubisoft has teased some more information about the fourth and final season of the game's second year, and it will take players high up in an observation tower in the city of Seoul. No further details, nor screenshots, have been provided.

According to GameSpot, more information about the new DLC and the new operators will be revealed during the "Rainbow Six Siege" Pro League finals streaming on Nov. 18 and 19. If the publisher follows their previous announcement schedules, there is a big chance that the new expansion will be released on Nov. 21 for season pass holders.

"Operation White Noise" is said to include new weapons and gadgets, but for now, the details are still being kept under wraps.

Meanwhile, it has also been confirmed that "Rainbow Six Siege" Year Three is on the way.

"We will have more news to share on the exciting things to come in Year 3, but for now, we want to share a big thank you from the entire Rainbow Six development team," Ubisoft said in a news release.

Fans are encouraged to wait for further updates regarding the developments of the game.
