10 Christian Democrats running on their faith in the Nov. 3 midterm elections
10. Anna Golladay of Tennessee

A small business owner and community organizer, Golladay is a former United Methodist Church (UMC) pastor who was fired in 2018 after officiating a same-sex wedding.
Golladay is campaigning to raise the federal minimum wage, grant statehood to the District of Columbia, and pass the Equality Act, which some Evangelical leaders have warned could pose a threat to religious freedom.
In her time as a UMC pastor, Golladay worked with both the St. Elmo and St. Mark's United Methodist congregations in Chattanooga and helped lead the effort to make those congregations more welcoming to the LGBT community.
