8. Justin Douglas of Pennsylvania

A commissioner in Dauphin County, Justin Douglas has his eyes set on Pennsylvania’s 10th Congressional District seat this November. 

A pastor and fitness instructor, Douglas, 39, was fired from his former pastoral role at a local church after he appeared in a promotional video inviting gay and lesbian congregants, according to reports.

With a campaign focused on prison reform, Douglas successfully flipped the county commissioner seat blue in 2023.
