Blind Girl's Wizard of Oz Vision Comes to Life Thanks to Comcast's Brilliant Idea

A commercial from Comcast appeared during the Academy Awards show Sunday. It features a 7-year-old girl named Emily who was born blind. As she describes each character, it creates an amazing visual of what she envisions in her mind. It is simply incredible!

Can you imagine how amazing it must feel to explain to people how the show would appear to you and then you can visualize it … WOW! In her mind she watches the show she envisions and during the commercial they share her vision with us. Andreas Nilsson from Biscuit Filmworks directed the short documentary that brought Emily's vision to life.

The advertisement promotes Comcast's newest technology, which was developed by their Accessibility Lab. It allows people with visual impairments to channel-surf using the "first talking guide" ever.
