Carly Rae Jepsen First Pitch A Complete Failure (VIDEO)

Carly Rae Jepsen proved that her athletic skills do not match her singing skills on Sunday night.

The "Call Me Maybe" singer was invited to throw the first pitch at the Tampa Bay Rays home stadium where her throw was deemed "terrible."

Although she wound up and released the ball, Jepsen's toss fell short of the home plate and even hit a camera.

Directly following her throw, the Canadian native clasped her hands over he face in embarrassment, but was able to laugh it off.

The whole ordeal was captured in a video entitled "Carly Rae Jepsen throws terrible first pitch," which has gone viral online on Monday. Watch the video here.

One YouTube user joked of the video using the lyrics of Jepsen's hit song "Call Me Maybe."

"Hey, I just threw a pitch, and it was crazy, here's a baseball, I can't throw it, maybe," joked WWesn.

Also, on Twitter, Jepsen's fans poked fun at the failed pitch.

"Carly Rae Jepsen threw the pitch in the wrong direction, but at least her reaction was adorable," posted MSN.

"I find her terrible pitch really endearing," added Rhiannon.

Meanwhile, Jepsen remained jovial about the pitch, and even posted several photos to her Instagram account from Sunday.

"A before and after," read one caption by the 27-year-old singer. "Me taking the mound. Me knocking the camera out of the photographers hands with the baseball. And me getting a sympathy hug from a catcher. Omg."

Furthermore, on Twitter, Jepsen retweeted a funny message posted by her sister Katie.

"Look at the bright side @carlyraejepsen you're the first one in the family to make it on@espn #loveyou."

"Had an amazing time in Tampa Bay! Thank you," Jepsen added.

Regardless of the failed opening pitch, the Rays went on to defeat the Houston Astros 5-0 on Sunday.
