Netflix March 2017 New Movies, TV Shows: What's In and Out For Next Month

Popular streaming service Netflix has released its updated list of incoming shows and movies for the month of March this year.

This also includes a confirmed list of shows and movies that are leaving the streaming platform by next month. These include the "Jaws" trilogy, "The Invincible Iron Man," and "The Starving Games," which is a parody of the young adult dystopian franchise, "The Hunger Games."

There are a number of highly anticipated Netflix original series for March, and these include the Selena Gomez-produced young adult mystery "13 Reasons Why," which will be available by March 31, and Marvel series "Iron Fist," starring Finn Jones ("Game of Thrones") as Danny Rand, which is set to premiere on March 17.

Aside from Netflix original series, several TV shows will also premiere their new installments. These include season 3 of "How to Get Away with Murder," which will be available in the platform starting March 23, while season 8 of "The Vampire Diaries" will be airing starting March 18.

Movies that are joining Netflix's offerings by March include "Jurassic Park," Walt Disney's "Pete's Dragon" and "The BFG" as well as Neil Gaiman's animated film, "Coraline." Wes Andersons' "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou" starring Bill Murray and Owen Wilson is also coming to the streaming platform on March 26.

Among other movies that are leaving the streaming service next month are "Mega Shark vs. Mecha Shark," "Love at First Sight," and "The Life and Crimes of Doris Payne." The full list is available on TV Guide and other sites.

Netflix subscribers get immediate access to all available movies and TV shows that the streaming service has on its database. The platform supports playback on smart TVs, smartphones, and even gaming consoles such as Xbox and PlayStation.

Since Jan. 2017, the company has a reported 93 million subscribers worldwide, with 47 million subscribers in the United States alone. 

Subscription starts at $7.99 and could go as high as $11.99 for users who want to use up to four screens simultaneously along with a High Definition option.
