Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Miami Heat - Watch NBA Finals 2012 Game 5 Live Stream

The NBA Finals 2012 Game 5 Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Miami Heat takes place Thursday night with the Heat on the verge of becoming the NBA Champions 2012. However, some are suggesting that the Heat could be ready to suffer a blow out; having beaten the Thunder three games in a row, some predict a big turnaround for Game 5 with the Thunder storming to victory. Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Miami Heat Game 5 tips off at 9 p.m. EST and can be watched live on ABC, or alternatively fans can watch online through live stream on ESPN3 (details below).

The Heat are 3-1 up in the best of seven series, and critics have praised them for keeping their composure over recent games and closing out tight finishes successfully. Prior to the series, many believed the Thunder would be favorites for the championship, however, Miami have proved their doubters wrong. However, if we're going by recent games, the Heat will not let Oklahoma back into the series and will close things out tonight.

LeBron James and Dwyane Wade have led the Heat front line and won Game 4 by just six points 104-98. Having missed out on the championship last year, fans are hoping the team will finally be able to bring home a second trophy — and not many could argue that James deserves to finally win his first championship ring after nine years in the NBA.

Meanwhile the Thunder were led by Russell Westbrook in Game 4, who scored an astonishing 43 points. Kevin Durant as always has been the star player for Oklahoma in the series so far, and many fans will be hoping the Thunder can win Game 5 to keep this exciting series going. Again no one could argue if Durant were to clinch his first championship ring.

But one of the biggest weaknesses in the Thunder's game during this series has been their heavy reliance on just two players. In Game 4 Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook scored 71 points, whereas everyone else only managed 27 points put together. With only two active offensive players, the Thunder can only do so much. Perhaps the main question is whether the Thunder can unite more and play together as a team from the front to the back? Their teamwork in many ways will dictate their success in Game 5.
