'Attack on Titan' Season 2 Episode 2 May See A Bloodbath Ensue

"Attack on Titan" has received critical acclaim due to its gory yet riveting storyline that pits puny humans against gigantic, deformed humanoids that devour communities in their wake. With season 2 already ongoing, one can expect more of the bloodbath that it has been well-known for.

In the promo for season 2 episode 2 titled "I'm Home," the Titans have begun appearing within Wall Rose, alarming every one of the possible atrocities it can bring. Eren and the others rush to the rescue while recruits from the 104th Cadet Corps spread throughout the land to give warning.

While this doesn't spoil much of what fans can expect from the upcoming episode, one can bet that it will be filled with action and violence, plunging everyone into the story. Since it is already season 2 and there's no more need for the slow-burning introduction, there is reason to believe that audiences will be shocked with more mayhem.

Aside from that, one can recall that unfortunately, season 2 will only have a total of 12 episodes due to staff shortage. This means that the creators may be forced to get into the meat of the plot quickly, and this may be a good time to start that.

Moreover, episode 1 has been more of a recap than an actual episode, reviews have said. In its efforts to remain mysterious and enigmatic, it becomes a bit draggy and gives pieces of information avid viewers already know. In line with that strategy, it's already crunch time that it goes deep into the story, further adding fuel to the speculation that episode 2 is where more carnage ensues.

"Attack on Titan" has been one of the top anticipated sequels. That being said, there is a lot of pressure on the series' shoulders.

Season 2 episode 2 of "Attack on Titan" returns on April 8, 9 a.m. ET (10 p.m. JST) on streaming sites.
