Brad Pitt Movie Set Raided by SWAT Team

A SWAT team raided the set of Brad Pitt’s latest film on Monday. According to US Weekly, Hungarian police and a SWAT team raided a warehouse where a stash of automatic guns was being stored.

The rifles, which were supposed to be non-functional, but were in good working order, were confiscated at an airport near the film’s set and were being stored at the warehouse.

The director of Hungary’s anti-terrorism said in a statement: "Guns like these are highly illegal to transport even if they were to [be] used as stage guns, which hopefully they weren't."

An unnamed source told US Weekly that: "The movie company's employees must have made a mistake bringing the guns in without the Anti-Terrorism Unit's permission."

The movie, based on a novel by Max Brooks, is being directed by Marc Forster and is set to be released on Dec. 2012.

Pitt will star as a U.N. employee traveling the world to stop a zombie plague.
