Miami Heat vs. Boston Celtics Preview: Celtics Aiming To Close Out Series With Heat With 3-0 Edge For Season

The number five-ranked Boston Celtics are aiming to secure their third victory over the third-seeded Miami Heat this season.

The Celtics and Heat will be facing each other for the final time during the regular season on Wednesday, April 13th, at the TD Garden in Boston.

The first game between both teams took place last November 30th in Miami, with the visiting Celtics winning with a final score of 105-95.

In the said contest, shooting guard Avery Bradley helped put an end to Boston's three-game losing streak on the road, as he ended the night with 25 points, two rebounds, three assists, and three steals, shooting 9 out of 15 from the field, through 39 minutes of playing time.

Point guard Isaiah Thomas also helped out big, scoring 16 points along with nine assists.

Their second game last February 27th in Boston was another double-digit win for the Celtics, as they finished the game with a final tally of 101-89. This time around, the green and white team was holding a ten-game winning streak at home, through the combined efforts of starting forward Jae Crowder, and second stringers Marcus Smart and Evan Turner.

 Crowder ended the game with 14 points, four rebounds, two assists, and five steals, shooting 6 out of 15 from the field, through 33 minutes of playing time. Turner, meanwhile, finished the game with 14 points, six rebounds and nine assists, shooting 6 out of 12 from the field, through 28 minutes of playing time.

Smart was the leading scorer for the Celtics with 15 points, along with six rebounds and three assists, shooting 5 out of 9 from the field, through 27 minutes of playing time.

The Heat are entering their final game of the season against the Celtics holding a two-game winning streak. They currently banner a win-loss slate of 48-33.

The Celtics, on the other hand, are entering the game with a two-game losing streak. They hold a record of 47-34.
