San Antonio Spurs vs. Dallas Mavericks Preview: Spurs Looking To Further Exert Dominance Over Mavericks In Fourth Game Of The Season

The second-seeded San Antonio Spurs will be gunning for their fourth victory over the number seven-ranked Dallas Mavericks this season.

The game will be held on Wednesday, April 13th, at the American Airlines Center in Dallas.

San Antonio managed to emerge victorious in all three previous contests, so far. Their first encounter took place last November 25th at home, where they finished the game with a final score of 88-83, marking their third consecutive victory, back then.

Forward Kawhi Leonard was the one who came up big for the Spurs, ending the night with 26 points, eight rebounds, five assists, and two steals, shooting 9 out of 16 from the field, though 40 minutes of playing time.

The second game last January 17th in San Antonio showed a more dominant performance from the Spurs, as they emerged victorious once again with a final score of 112-83.

This time around, it was small forward LaMarcus Aldridge who contributed the most numbers, scoring 23 points along with six rebounds, shooting 9 out of 15 from the field, through 27 minutes of playing time.

Off the bench, big man Boris Diaw also piled in significant points, scoring 16 points, along with three rebounds and three assists, shooting 6 out of 11 from the field, through 15 minutes of playing time.

The third game last February 5th in Dallas was another double-digit victory for San Antonio, as they finished the game with a final tally of 116-90. They were also able to hand Dallas the biggest halftime deficit in their franchise's history, leading by 36 points with a score of 62-26.

Kawhi Leonard was once again the main man for his team, ending the night with 23 points and two rebounds, shooting 9 out of 16 from the field, through 26 minutes of playing time.

Aldridge also logged in a double-double of his own, scoring 14 points and ten rebounds, along with two assists and two steals, shooting 5 out of 11 from the field, through 27 minutes of playing time.

The Spurs currently hold a record of 65-15, while the Mavericks banner a win-loss slate of 42-39.
