'Spider-Man: Homecoming': Second Trailer Debuts at CinemaCon

The upcoming "Spider-Man: Homecoming" did not miss Sony's CinemaCon event in Las Vegas.

Slated for a July release, the Sony and Marvel produced film debuted its second trailer during the CinemaCon, showing Tom Holland in the titular role along with Michael Keaton as the new villain called Vulture.

Keaton described his villainous character as a sort of scavenger who helps clean up the aftermath of superhero battles and has a habit of collecting leftover and wrecked alien technology to develop them into new and advanced weapons.

Vulture's real name is Adrian Toomes, and he is an average blue-collar New Yorker who felt that his job is threatened because of Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.). In the trailer, he is heard saying "The rich and the powerful, like Stark? They don't care about us."

Tony Stark, on the other hand, stands as a mentor for the young Peter Parker (aka Spider-Man) after the events of "Captain America: Civil War."

Jon Watts directs the new "Spider-Man" film.

During the CinemaCon panel, Holland shared that his Peter Parker character will be very different from the two previous ones (played by Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, respectively) that fans have seen from the big screen so far.

"I felt very strongly about the question about what would happen if you gave a 15-year-old superpowers. I think the answer would be he would have the time of his life," Holland said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

The actor also added that the new Peter will still fight crimes but will have so much fun doing it. "We really tried to convey that he's enjoying his superpowers," he said.

Aside from Downey and Holland, the film also stars Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, Laura Harrier, Donald Glover and Zendaya among others.

"Spider-Man: Homecoming" will be released in theaters on July 6.
