'The Dark Tower' Poster Cleverly Hides the Tower; Teases More Worlds

Fans of Stephen King's novel "The Dark Tower" have a lot to celebrate as finally, the live movie adaptation now has a solid marketing material released, which only means that it may not be pushed back any further.

The author himself was the first to share the newest poster for the film, saying in a tweet, "Pilgrim, there are other worlds than these. Come with us on the adventure." This was met with an excited swarm of fans, as it has been a long time coming and the movie is at last entering phases of much-awaited publicity.

His cryptic message has been interpreted by many netizens, and a lot of them believe that this points out the fact that there will be many worlds to both explore and protect in the movie remake. With one plane adjacent to another, it gives a hit that the realms are closely connected to one another, most obviously by the fought-about Dark Tower.

Yet beyond his words, the artwork is also showing a clever secret. At first glance, it looks like the world is upside down, with skyscrapers pointing downward. If one views it from a different perspective, however, one would find a hidden tower, whereas the space is the structure and the inverted buildings shape the optical illusion.

This has been the first solid marketing material for the film. Prior to the poster, Idris Elba, who plays as the protagonist Roland Deschain, was snapped shooting scenes in Los Angeles, the Daily Mail has learned. Before that, an official soundtrack with the title "Behind Blue Eyes" was made available on Amazon for less than a dollar.

Now that a poster has arrived, one can argue that a trailer may be just around the corner. Given the fact that the movie's launch date is just months away, that could be a safe bet.

"The Dark Tower" is set to amaze and enchant audiences on July 28, 2017.
