    The U.S. House of Representatives has approved a Republican bill that will allow the Canadian Keystone Pipeline to proceed. The pipeline would transport oil produced from the Alberta oil sands to Port Arthur, Texas. It was previously blocked by President Barack Obama. The new bill is intended to keep alive efforts to overhaul federal transportation programs and continue the flow of highway and transit aid to states.

Showing no remorse Breivik made the statement on the 2nd day of his trial for killing 77 people last July in Norway. He also boasted that he had carried out "the most spectacular political attack in Europe since World War Two.

    The man accused of killing seventy-seven people in a bomb and gun rampage in Norway last summer has pleaded not guilty. Anders Breivik claimed self-defense on the first day of his trial yesterday. Some have described the lone-wolf terrorist as a right-wing Christian extremist.
