After winning the Super Bowl on Sunday, the Kansas City Chiefs have been vocal about giving God the glory.
Chiefs CEO Clark Hunt thanked the Lord for all the “incredible people who helped us bring this championship home.”
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who is the youngest Super Bowl MVP, said “faith has always been big with me” and that he’s glorifying God every time he’s out on the field.

The Super Bowl halftime show that featured Jennifer Lopez and Shakira is being panned for its explicit content.
Christians, including Franklin Graham and Rebekah Lyons, blasted the racy clothing, dancing and use of a stripper pole, arguing that it was inappropriate for children who were watching the football game and that it conveyed the message that sexual exploitation is OK.

More cities that were originally scheduled to host the Franklin Graham tour in the United Kingdom have canceled following pressure from LGBT groups.
The International Convention Centre Wales in Newport is the latest venue to pull out. Jayne Bryant, Assembly Member for Newport West, accused Graham of preaching “hate.”
Other venues that have canceled include Liverpool ACC and Glasgow SEC.
Graham made it clear that he is going to the U.K. this summer to share the Good News of God’s love and is not bringing hateful speech.

Retired megachurch pastor Dan Scott has seen how refugees, particularly the Nepalese community, have successfully integrated into his city of Nashville. But he sees that many evangelicals have embraced an “unethical” behavior and posture toward immigrants.
His motivation for reaching out to refugees, he said, is simply a response to the Gospel. Given that there is a lack of infrastructure for resettling refugees in parts of the U.S., he encouraged his church — Christ Church — to step in and offer English language classes and help them get acquainted with life in the U.S.
Some 300 Nepalese refugees the church served have become Christians.
